RS and CAN Extension Board Layout

RS&CAN Extension Board adds RS232, RS485 serial ports support and CAN bus support.


Extension board components:

 

1. Extension Board Connector Use J1 connector to plug extension board to next compatible extension board.
2. CAN Connector

J3 CAN bus (for controller area network) is a vehicle bus standard designed to allow microcontrollers and devices to communicate with each other within a vehicle without a host computer.

RS-CAN-EB-1 Extension Board easily allows to operate with the CAN Interface. Use J3 connector for plugging to CAN Bus.
3. Wakeup Jumper J6 4 pin connector should be mounted first.
4. SPI Jumper J4 4 pin connector should be mounted first.
5. J9 Jumper  
6. RS485 Connector J12 connector for plugging in devices which supports RS485 standard.
7. USB Connector USB connector.
8. Voltage Select Jumper This jumper allows you to select voltage from board or external USB
9. J10 and J11 Jumpers  
10. RS232 Connector J2 connector for plugging in devices which supports RS232 standard.
11. Demoboard Connector Use J8 connector to plug extension board to compatible LPC-4350-DB1 or LPC-1850-DB1 demoboard.
